Brilliant movie based on true life events. Virtuoso performances by Robert Di Nero and Robin Williams. Chronicles a mystifying case of patients locked in a catatonic state that are given an experimental drug that brings them out of their stupor and experience fully. Sadly, it is a temporary as the patients revert to being imprisoned by their minds and bodies. The underlying message is really for the rest of us who have our full faculties and yet fail to enjoy life.
