This was the first time I was trying the much vaunted Bangalore cuisine and BENNE - Heritage Bangalore Dosa did not disappoint!! We ordered a variety of items and each of them were soul satisfying. Of particular note were: The epynomous Benne Dosa, Thatte Idly and the Mangalore buns. The meal was sumptuous and soul satisfying. I don’t know if Bangaloreans would consider this “authentic” or “traditional” … but my frank view is: if Benne’s food is not “traditional”, then change your traditions.
