I wouldn’t say I chanced on this book but I took a chance. The book is a series of letters written to and by the protagonist Sybil Van Antwerp.It is like no other book I have read where the reader is piecing the story of Sybil and of the characters within the book, through a series of letters written back and forth. Sybil writes letters everyday - to friends, to relatives, to neighbors and even to publishers and authors reviewing their books. I found the book engaging and entertaining.
