Just a few km outside Ubud, this 10th century water temple is a deeply sacred and culturally immersive destination. The spring fed pools and the purification ritual itself is quite a unique experience. The holy waters are supposed to carry enduring spiritual energy. Best experienced slowly and with reverence. Go early to avoid crowds and get th most from your visit.
